Our History

Armstrong Elementary is a public school located in rural Eastover, North Carolina.  The school was built in the late 1930's.  Armstrong operated as a secondary school until 1995.  The building was closed for over a year and was completely renovated.  It reopened in August of 1997 as a traditional elementary school for kindergarten through fifth grades.  In August of 1999 we changed our status to a school-within-a-school featuring a traditional and a year round schedule for grades Pre-K through fifth grade.

At the present time, Armstrong is a traditional elementary school with a faculty and staff of approximately 70.
